Ingredient Benefits:
(with a focus on gut health & the nervous system)
Peppermint
Peppermint is carminative, meaning it helps relax the smooth muscle of the gut, which may ease cramping, gas & bloating caused by irritation to the gut lining. It’s also support increasing bile production & support the flow of bile from the gallbladder into the small intestine to aid fat digestion. A settled gut also supports a calmer nervous system through the gut-brain axis.
Cacao
Cacao is rich in polyphenols & flavanols, which act as food for beneficial gut bacteria & help calm inflammation. It also provides magnesium, a key mineral for relaxing the nervous system & supporting a balanced stress response.
Collagen
Collagen supplies glycine & proline, amino acids that help support the integrity of the gut lining. Since a large portion of the immune system sits along the gut barrier, this also supports immune resilience. Glycine has a calming influence on the nervous system & can support more restful sleep.
